-$17 realized today · running day-trade P&L below

Some days are just a grind. I worked my usual movers and ended within a rounding error of even.

The ANY mistake

I worked ANY (Sphere 3D), in around $1.95 and out around $1.88 across 19 prints on 3,200 shares, for a -$232 hit.

Every red day lately rhymes: too much size in the wrong name at the wrong time. The fix isn't a better entry, it's a smaller one.

VIVK: the day's bright spot

I worked VIVK (Vivakor), in around $2.98 and out around $3.05 across 29 prints on 2,500 shares, for a +$180 win.

SKHU did the work

I worked SKHU (ProShares Ultra SK Hynix) — the 2x leveraged fund that tracks SK Hynix. I was in around $19.05 and out around $19.28 across 10 prints on 600 shares, for a +$139 win. Read: why a 2x fund can lose money even when your direction is right →

Also on the tape

Smaller pieces that netted into the day: TSLG -$104.

Add it up and it was a -$17 day. That puts my running total for this stretch at -$261. I'll reset, size down, and try to give it back slower than I lost it. Read: my actual strategy, and the three places it breaks →
