The routine doesn't change. Before the bell I pull up my pre-market gainers list, hunt for the cheap, fast movers, and try to take a bite and step aside before they turn. Today the plan mostly worked.

SKHU: the day's bright spot

I worked SKHU (ProShares Ultra SK Hynix) — the 2x leveraged fund that tracks SK Hynix. I was in around $18.15 and out around $18.60 across 2 prints on 200 shares, for a +$90 win. Read: why a 2x fund can lose money even when your direction is right →

This is what the plan looks like when I actually follow it: small, fast, unemotional, and out before greed shows up.

SPCH did the work

I worked SPCH (2x Long SPCX ETF) — a 2x long SPCX ETF. I was in around $8.91 and out around $8.97 across 3 prints on 500 shares, for a +$30 win.

Also on the tape

Smaller pieces that netted into the day: ATAI -$15, CJMB +$0.

Add it up and it was a +$106 day. That puts my running total for this stretch at -$150. Tomorrow I reset and run it back. Read: what 890 trades looked like once I reconstructed the statement →
