Closing the losers
I sold 1,300 DAIC at $1.65 for -$178 and 1,000 BATL at $1.19 for -$38. Both had been profitable trades a week earlier; both ended as losses once I kept trading them past the original move. Read: two orders in two days that beat sixty-four in one →
And straight into two new names
The same session I opened 1,000 shares of SNAP at $4.87 and 600 shares of PLUG at $2.79 — both considerably larger, more established companies than the sub-$2 tickers I'd been churning. I notice I never had a flat day. Every time I closed something, I opened something else the same session. Sitting in cash was apparently the one position I wouldn't consider.
